Coming up next in our Performance Series is a collaborative exploration between Soundscapes and movement- a recital by noted vocalist Keerthana Vaidyanathan, along with Akshay Yesodharan on the Guitars, followed by a creative collaboration with Bharathanatyam dancer Rukmini Vijayakumar.
An evening to look forward to!
Keerthana Vaidyanathan is a classical vocalist from Chennai. Being born in a musical family, she was nourished by the classical sounds of South India from her childhood. She later received tutelage from Vidushi Bombay Jayashri which further expanded her vision and insight and inspired her to come up with productions and collaborations of her own. She is currently collaborating with many music producers and artists; her latest project with Prashanth Techno is a cultural melting pot, featuring some of her original compositions with synths and electro-ambient soundscapes.
In the last 30 minutes of the performance, Keerthana will collaborate with noted Bharathanatyam dancer, Rukmini Vijayakumar. Rukmini is known for her unique style and approach to the practice of Bharatanatyam. Her strength lies in her dedicated and rigorous practice and layered knowledge of Bharatanatyam.
Sure to be one of the most interesting evenings at LshVa, don’t miss this! Book your seats before we’re full because we have limited seating.
